GD35 series: a frequency converter solution tailored for machine tool spindles

1. Spindle accurate stop and zero position positioning
The GD35 series has a built-in high-precision spindle stop function, supporting two methods of encoder Z-phase positioning and external photoelectric switch positioning, with short positioning time and high accuracy. Four different zero positions can be set through parameter settings, and can be quickly switched through terminals to meet the accurate stopping requirements of different processes such as tool changing and workpiece loading and unloading.

2. Multi segment indexing and servo positioning
In response to the demand for machine tool indexing processing, INVT GD35 provides 7 programmable indexing angles, which users can freely set according to the processing technology. Simultaneously supporting pulse train servo positioning function, it can receive pulse instructions sent by the upper computer to achieve arbitrary position positioning. After positioning is completed, it outputs a positioning completion signal to achieve seamless integration with the CNC system.

3. Encoder signal frequency division output
The H1/H2 encoder interface of GD35 supports encoder pulse frequency division output function, which can output the encoder signal to the CNC system in a 1:1 ratio, achieving real-time feedback of spindle position. This feature does not require additional encoder configuration, simplifies system wiring, and reduces equipment costs.

4. Rigid tapping and inertia compensation
GD35 supports rigid tapping function, which can accurately control the synchronization relationship between spindle speed and feed axis, ensuring tapping accuracy. Simultaneously equipped with inertia identification and compensation functions, it can automatically identify the inertia of the spindle system and optimize control parameters, effectively suppressing vibration and overshoot during spindle acceleration and deceleration processes.
