INVT GD20 vector frequency converter core control performance: precise driving, stable control of the entire field
1、 Core highlights of PG free vector control technology
The INVT GD20 vector frequency converter adopts the industry-leading PG free vector control method, which can achieve high-precision speed and torque control of the motor without the need for additional encoders, greatly simplifying system wiring and configuration costs. In vector control mode, the product can achieve stable forward and reverse operation with 100% rated load at 50Hz, smooth and distortion free current waveform, fast dynamic response speed, and high control accuracy, far exceeding the performance of traditional V/F control frequency converters.
2、 Dual mode motor parameter self-learning function
The GD20 vector frequency converter is equipped with a self-learning function for rotating and stationary dual-mode motor parameters, which can accurately identify core parameters such as stator resistance, rotor resistance, inductance, etc. of the motor, providing precise data support for vector control and simple and convenient debugging operation. Among them, rotational self-learning requires detachment from the load to complete full parameter calibration, suitable for high-end applications with high control accuracy requirements; Static self-learning can be debugged in scenarios where the motor cannot be disconnected from the load, completely solving the on-site pain point of inability to rotate self-learning after equipment installation.
3、 Excellent operational performance across all frequency bands
The GD20 vector frequency converter exhibits excellent driving performance across the entire frequency range. Under low-speed conditions, the V/F control mode can achieve stable operation at 100% rated load with sudden addition/removal at 0.5Hz, and there is no significant fluctuation in speed under 2Hz full load conditions. The low-speed torque is sufficient and the starting performance is strong; Under high-frequency operating conditions, vector control mode can support steady-state operation of 200Hz and 400Hz motors, with smooth and stable current waveforms, perfectly adapting to high-frequency applications such as high-speed spindles and high-speed conveyors.
4、 Design of stall suppression and stability protection
To reduce the frequency of frequency converter fault protection and improve the continuous operation capability of the equipment, the INVT GD20 vector frequency converter is equipped with dual protection functions for overvoltage stall and overcurrent stall. During the deceleration process, the overvoltage stall function adjusts the output frequency to avoid DC bus overvoltage faults caused by excessive motor power generation; During the acceleration process, the overcurrent stall function dynamically adjusts the output frequency to avoid overcurrent tripping caused by rapid acceleration or excessive load, greatly improving the stability of equipment operation
