Multiple security mechanisms ensure worry free operation of INVT GD350-CCS series ship frequency converters
1. Safety torque shutdown function
The GD350-CCS series ship specific frequency converter is equipped with a Safety Torque Off (STO) function, which cuts off the torque output when the motor stops, preventing the equipment from starting unexpectedly. It meets the EN60204-1 parking category standard and achieves SIL2 safety level. At the same time, the frequency converter remains powered on to continue monitoring the system status and has a fast recovery speed.
2. Over thirty fault protections
The product provides over 30 types of fault protection functions, including overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature, phase loss, overload, etc. The overload capacity can reach 150% of the rated current for 63 seconds, 180% of the rated current for 10 seconds, and 200% of the rated current for 1 second, comprehensively avoiding electrical fault risks and ensuring equipment and personnel safety.
3. Adaptability to wide voltage power grids
In response to the large fluctuations in the ship's power grid, the GD350-CCS series ship specific frequency converter adopts a wide voltage design, supporting an input range of 380V (-15%)~440V (+10%), and is equipped with automatic voltage adjustment function. When the power grid voltage fluctuates, it can automatically maintain a constant output voltage, reducing the impact of power grid fluctuations on the load.
4. Thermal simulation optimization of heat dissipation design
INVT has introduced advanced thermal simulation technology to conduct a full series of thermal design verification on the GD350-CCS series ship specific frequency converter. With an independent air duct structure, it effectively improves the protection effect and heat dissipation efficiency, adapts to complex and harsh environments such as ship engine rooms, and improves product reliability and service life.
